This beautiful graffiti is on a squalidly magnificent building called the Tacheles. It's exhibit A in a fight between squatters who'd turned it into artists' Co-op and the bank that wants to demolish the building and replace it with something grand and expensive.
I'm not sure if it's still occupied, but it's surrounded by a chain link fence. Still there's a weedy walkway leading into the complex, which I had no intention of exploring, even without the shifty guy carrying something that looked like a radio set from the era of soviet occupation, who was coming out as I walked past.
There's a lot going on here for sure.
