A nice way to spend a Tuesday.
25 miles at 8.7mph
Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Scenic as it can be
28.9 miles with two bridges over the Swinhomish Channel. Skipped March Point to Anacortes as the weather was getting rainy. Reservation Road hilly but little traffic. Lovely wild roses, fruiting Indian plum and wild honeysuckle. The coat hanger bridge outside La Conner has a button to activate a flashing light to warm traffic of cyclists.
Next time, with better weather, extend to Anacortes and even Guemes Island.
It's so nice to find a new route to ride in a familiar area.
