Wheeling WV to Byesville OH. Yes would describe Ohio as green, humid and roller coaster hills. A little cooler and me a little fitter would help. I had to walk several hills, and sternly order, in my best
British "no bad dogs" persona, a dog that ran out towards me on the climb out of Zanesville to BEHAVE.

Not me. While this was going on I was still struggling the last miles into town on the Wheeling Heritage trail.

5pm I’m beat

Road work outside Wellsburg WVa meant dirt filled rumble strips and lateral cracks on the fast, fortunately (it's Sunday) lightly trafficked Highway towards Wheeler, and not the Brooke Pioneer Trail.

Steep so I walked it in the heat.
