Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.
Spectacular warm sunny day for an exploration of Fir Island. Coffee and cake at Rex (kitchen closed). Learned from waterfowl hunters that snow geese are fair game until end of January. So this explains why I see only trumpeter swans and eagles. Today a very enjoyable solo spin with sunshine on my back.
