Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

6 of the Lewis chessmen from Uig, not kept at the British Museum. Provenance of this hoard is problematic as no one kept notes on who found them, where and when.
However they are wonderful. And the museum is free.
