Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Wednesday May 22 Daliburgh to Benbecula
Totally exhausted with vicious 25mph headwinds the whole 20+ miles. Couldn't make it to the Tractor pods near Clachan. Unsafe to press on in the conditions. Instead, salvation in the form of the Dark Island Hotel.
