I was also walking parts of all of these as well, plus routes marked with blue, yellow and red blazes, stripes and rectangles, splashed on rocks and trees. Some pieces also had numbers painted on a white background, and many trails had names like the path of the dryads and the trail of the big rocks.
At one junction I met an Irish hiker with a map. Absolutely none of these directions appeared on his map. Turned out I was on the Grand Route for most of the way, but I saw only one worn out green/orange blaze on a rock.
This route is Day 1 of the Tour du Lac d'Annecy, so I guess navigation would be a bit of a challenge.
