As the Hotel Belvedere, at 80,00 Euro for tasting menu, was out of my league, I went to the old town and had this local specialty: potatoes, bacon and onion baked under several large slices of the local cheese: reblochon. As it was well past 9pm, I enjoyed it, as it was cool. They're selling fondue in town, but it's so hot I don't know how anyone could order it in July.
