Destination Number 1

This is the Altes Schloss Hohenbaden, built in 1479 by someone called Bernard 1 the Markgrafen Von Baden. Although he looks like a crusader I think he's too late, but I presume his grandfather or great grandpa might have made his pile of money ransacking Constantinople Jerusalem or someplace like that.
The castle is a ruin, all the gargoyles gone except for an incongruous set of stone feet still hanging off one of walls, but a major draw for C19th Romantics.
