Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Surf's Up
Here's the Isar river at 4pm today. I think this is close to where Munich surfers play. Not today though. This flooding river is a killer. The last place I saw rapids like this was on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.
