The Crane Buildings from much closer

There's a great shared pedestrian/bike path on this side of the Rhine, along a basin called Rhineauhafen, south of the Severinsbrucke.
Today it's sunny and hot and this waterfront development echoes the "Life is Good" nature of places just like this in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast down under.
I stopped for an expensive but delicious iced chocolate drink at the terrace cafe of the Imhoff Chocolate Museum.
Talk about "eat dessert first". I have my lunch with me, a roll with cold cuts and cheese I made from this morning's breakfast stop in Friesenplatz, close to my hostel. I'll find somewhere else on this long waterside spin to eat it.
