Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

The End of the Rhine-side bike path, near Porz
This is perhaps 5 km from central Cologne, on the East side of the Rhine.
Things are returning to normal as several barges, carrying coal, containers or passengers were ploughing upstream against the strong brown current.
