This is how I pinch hit an anti theft device when grabbing some food to take on the train for the 4 hour ride from Munich. I carry my valuables at all times on my person, keep my eye on bike 100% and booby trap the front wheel with the bike helmet. This method wouldn't work in SE Asia, but in Germany I risked it.
The ICE train hit 227km/hr at several points of my journey north.
Got to Cologne close to 5pm and it's hot and sunny here, which is a nice change. Now showered, set up in my dorm room and in need of a meal. Tomorrow I plan to visit the famous cathedral here. It's right across the street from the bahnhof .
