The Bellevue Garden D'Lights has been going since 1994. Never been before. Not likely to do it again. Sort of artificial and downright wierd. No plants were harmed, thankfully.

Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

November spin to Alki

Late lunch at Kalaloch Lodge
I'm back for the clam chowder I ate in September 2015, on my Adventure Cycling 18 Day Pacific Coast Route. Good memories.
Exiting my Thanksgiving hike
I'm glad I made the effort. It was nice to talk with Tim, a British guy from New York discovering the Hoh for the 1st time. Always magical.
For old times’ sake
I don't remember hiking up here except for a remarkable no snow President's Weekend in the early 2000s. A lifetime ago it seems.

Off Lake Crescent
Time for my Thanksgiving dinner in the car. My gravy wasn't as warm as I'd have liked, so I must buy a new wide mouth thermos.

Bakeri by bicycle
At Byen Bakeri in Fremont, south of the canal. Sunny Saturday in November, so I made time to ride Fiorello.

Input = output
My 27-mile rainy day outing burned about 1300 calories according to my phone app, so this didn't do any damage.
