The Snohomish is in flood, misty rain but not too cold (with right gear) and winter birds: Trumpeter swans and a big V of flying Snow Geese. Winter Twitching!

Finally able to ride after a week of rain

Kitting up in the parking lot of Harvey Field in Snohomish. Maybe some French fries later, maybe not.

It’s worth it

My skiing is not great so far this season but I do love being out in this terrain. Next time I hope to be better. At least the season has started, finally.

Managed nearly 8 miles

A combo of walking, skating, using the set tracks today. I managed to get some good form before stopping for lunch at my accustomed bridge, then awkward and sore on way back.
