Just because

Today's cloudy so, despite my solstice morning 12.3 mile bike round around Magnolia Bluff, I feel a little low. It's an anniversary for me and I am alone. The antidote is to sit with the feeling for a while, with a cut glass bowl of roses at my left elbow. The smell as sweet as they look. My June roses this season are fabulous. It makes the bitter sweet of the anniversary more bearable.
