Vernon) Britt Rd., Dike Rd., to Fir Island then follow course of Skagit River, side trip to Snowgoose Produce (closed) then backtrack to Best Rd., cross over river and right on Beaver z marsh, left on Bradshaw then back to MV over bridge to start at MV transit. Without stopping this is a 2hr ride, on deserted roads in the fog, but stop to watch the flocks of plump snow geese. They're skittish so approach quietly. Brunch at Ristretto cafe in MV.
