Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

4 inches of spring snow at Lake 22 TH
Today is an overcast showery day at home, so I did a reconnaissance drive into the Mt Baker Snoqualmie NF. Hmm. Lake 22 is 53 miles from home. The snow started at 47 miles. It's going to be a while before the gate on the Mountain Loop Hwy is open.
