I'm heading to SFO to pick up my travel buddies, then on to Yosemite NP. I'm taking Hwy 101 the length of the Oregon coast. Almost to the same week, in 2015, I biked 101 as far as Florence, before turning inland to Eugene. I can guarantee I'll be a cyclist's dream "share the road" driver this trip, unlike the a-holes I encountered as a cyclist on the bridge spanning the Columbia into Astoria.
That was a life affirming Adventure Cycling trip.
