Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

A nice 16ish mile loop but some dangerous sections and a careless truck doing a right without “seeing” me near fisherman’s terminal
This ride is very scenic but full of urban ride challenges. Maybe clockwise is better?
