Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

First time changing cables for derailleur
This is a nice old Trek mountain bike with bar end shifters on which I could learn to cut out the old cables and install new ones. I learned a lot. I hope I get more practice.
