Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

A hunter headed up to my basin
Only the 2nd time I've hiked this, and the first as a backup. Perhaps next time I'll camp in Alpine Meadows campground and day hike so I have the energy to climb another 1,000' to the saddle and views of Maude.
