Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Rolling Bay Bainbridge Island
Whenever I do a ride on BBI I stop here. It's one of the loveliest nurseries out there. I'm sort of limited in what I can buy though. Sometimes I've picked up garlic and shallot starts, or a pair of gardening gloves. Today it's only a couple of gift cards and an iced coffee in the attached cafe.
