Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Central Otago wine tasting
Peregrine in Gibbston. Very striking winery. I tasted 2 excellent Pinot Noir ('11, '15), 1 Pinot Gris and one rose. The Pinot Gris was in my price range ($29). I will find a good wine shop in Queenstown and see if this price is reasonable. Sometimes you pay a premium to taste in a lovely location.
