Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Final views for me from the KATY trail into Boonville MO
This utterly splendid 3-level abandoned rail bridge near Kingsbury Siding (mp 190.8) across the Missouri. Not part of the trail but it's pretty cool. I learned from the Katy Trail State Park map that the rights-of-way for the MKT (Missouri-Kansas-Texas) rail corridor were purchased in large part by Edward Jones Jr., of the St Louis -based financial firm Edward Jones. That's a great legacy!
