Everyone is anxious to be riding before the heat of another scorcher. I had a difficult night, and finally dug out the ibuprofen to calm the aches of a too-tough 62 miles on open highway under the blazing sun. I'm drinking as much water as I can stomach to counter dehydration, but I had little appetite last night at dinner and my body felt hot, even slightly feverish, for longer than I wanted.
