Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

TransAm Day 30 Seneca, KS to Washington, KS
What a difference a day makes! Yesterday's whopper of a thunderstorm brought down the high temperatures and humidity to pretty much perfect 70s. The group decided unanimously to ride the short route, 54 miles on US 36. Good shoulder, manageable rumbles, considerate drivers and truckers. Hard not to like the sunflower state today!
