Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

17 switchbacks worth
An amazing downhill run. Zero traffic, 3 cattle grids, and very difficult to slow to a stop. When I looked back up the hill where I'd been it looked like an ancient Sumerian ziggurat.
