Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Day 62 July 14 on to Pollock ID
I stayed on the official AC route, taking Old 95 to white bird summit. The inn is shuttered. Nice surprise was the street sweeper brushing gravel off the road about 2/3rds up.
