Sandfly Bay

After an extremely hilly gravel drive from Portobello, where I'm camped for 2 nights, I hooked into Highcliff Road, which is sealed for a spectacular peninsula summit 14km back to Dunedin. Apparently there's a hide at the far end of this beach that you can use to watch blue and maybe yellow-eyed penguins come ashore.
Much nicer than the zoo at the Albatross Center last night.
