Coulter Bay camp in Grand Tetons

Day 50 (July 2) was a most welcome 2-night layover in the first National Park. Honestly, for me the layovers aren't long enough to feel fully rested. I always get into camp last on the first night, and the 2nd always unbalanced, with AC paperwork to catch up on, and the biggest excitement a shower and a chance to do laundry. Today I did manage an overpriced breakfast of pancakes and pancake syrup being presented as maple syrup in the restaurant. But I enjoyed a chat with the young ski bum waiter wanting to travel and ski the world. But most extraordinary was this watercolor of the coulter bay campground complex. First time for me to see such industrial level outdoor recreation development presented as equal in interest as the granite peaks of GTNP.
