Peacefully eating grass ignoring the cyclist

I approached these beasts carefully, more concerned with being hit by a car than a wild animal. The park service employee's suggestion that "I should go back" made no sense. I complied when he ordered me to get into a nearby car when a bison looked at me. Fair enough. I judged the bison was doing no such thing, but non-riders don't understand why a cyclist has equal rights to the road. Much ado about nothing, but I imagine the park guy has seen it all.
