Moke Lake, in the camping cook shelter. There are pit toilets, water and a park warden to make sure campers don't trash the place. Even if it rains tonight or tomorrow, it's nicer than the tourist holiday camps around here, which are full of too many loud inconsiderate people.
I brought my sun shower with me on this trip for exactly this purpose. I'll drive back into Queenstown later to find a gas station and maybe go wine tasting. The town center is a traffic jam, well supplied with sheep fleece shops and all manner of "extreme" sports, which Queenstown flogs relentlessly. I might stop at the original bungey jump bridge as it's on the way to the wineries.
