Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Waiting for the tide to turn
I've set up my camp chair in the first pullout on the Seward Highway on Turnabout Arm Judy north of Girdwood. It's 7pm and I'm planning to sit here, read and wait for the bore tide. I'm also watching a group of SUPs heading out. I'm curious to see how many will be able to surf the incoming wave.
