In Big Delta State Historic Park

From 1909 to 1947 this was the place to be. It's full of homestead-era things. Rika Wallen was a Swedish immigrant who ruled this place. You can only imagine what it was like in winter back then, with no Alcan Highway and miners and traders crossed the Tanana River on a barge.
