It was hard to accept that this small mountain was McKinley. True. It's not. I hadn't read my guidebook closely enough to learn that you can't see McKinley from the entrance. I'll have to ride about 9 miles into the park tomorrow to see it. So I'm off to find somewhere to stay tonight as the campgrounds are full. I paid $4.50 for a shower at Riley Campground and did my laundry at the same time as it's 20 minutes of hot water, whether or not you want that much. It's hot enough in the parking lot to dry things, so I'm taking advantage of it.
