Still to fine tune tomorrow: the saddle height, tire inflation, and angle of handlebars in stem, plus dry lube the chain, the various bolts and screws. It sure took patience but I figured out how to untangle the chain and gear cables that had been unintentionally twisted into imaginative combinations as I was testing different ways to stuff bike parts together without scratching or bending things out of shape, and while also closing the top of the box. I'm the first to admit I really don't know what I'm doing a lot of the time. But I don't work on bikes for a living, so that's that.
And nothing in the hotel room shows grease or mess. So, back off, inner critic!
