Lee’s Ferry MD

After you cross the river on a bridge (50 metal stairs, if you're sensible, lock your bike to the rack at the base) leaving the C&O trail, and just walk over. The firehouse is where abolitionist John Brown was besieged by the Conferate army. There's obviously a lot more to see in this town, but Day 4's ride is 62 miles and this turn off is only 6.5 miles from the day's start in Brunswick.
