In Saqqara

Inside the Pyramid of Teti, 1st pharaoh of the 6th dynasty, 2345-2323 BC. The pyramid is now a mound of rubble, but the interior is carved with hieroglyphics spells. Another guide leading a small group who were inside with me, was practicing his own form of magic. He told the group that they were smelling the remnants of lotus blossom essential oils in a side chamber. Amazing, still there after 4,000 years! Just like Howard Carter reported when he first opened the door of King Tut's burial chamber in 1922. It was almost believable, especially as one innocent in the group asked where they might buy some of this fabulous perfume on the way back to Cairo.
Teri's spells sure work.
