Riding local, riding abroad. Doesn't matter. "One less car" bike commuting and "Bikes Belong" advocacy, plus "I ride solo" bicycle travel. Racing is fun, but there are so many equally great reasons to ride.

Lake Annecy from my hostel
About 8pm on a gorgeous Monday evening. It's an uphill walk (or push of the bike for me) but what a prospect! The hotel next door is aptly named Belvedete. It has a gastronomic restaurant and at 80,00 euros set menu, not in my budget.
