Footpath mosaic in Ballard

The weather so far this month has been often rainy, windy, and generally unpleasant, but when you go for a walk you can find beauty in unexpected places. This is one of a pair of mosaics outside an old house in Ballard. The other is red and yellow. I like this one more. Ballard is being made more urban village by the week, with bland box apartments and townhouses being shoehorned onto building sites that once were occupied by modest bungalows. It's starting to remind me of Queens.
