Baden Schwabische Indigenous food

Something I make in the dead of a grim Seattle winter, Sauerbraten, with heaps of Swabian egg noodles, which are bland decoratively cut strand noodles that taste of egg and need salt.
Plus a salad involving potatoes.
Tastes pretty good. But now I need a nap by a roaring fireplace.
