I often feel low on the last night in a city I've finally figured my way around in, when next morning I'm back to the worry of not the heck knowing where I'm going, whether I'll miss the train, if I'll have to share another compartment with some sticky toddlers and a dachshund.
I have silly sentiments like these on a fridge magnet back home.
Poor Germans, as messed up in their work/life balance as your typical American.
