I braved the metro today for the first time. One way from Kailash Colony to Chandni Chowk, with a change of line here, costs 25 rupees. You buy a token from the ticket booth. There are ticket machines, but I couldn't see where you choose your destination. The first carriage in the metro is "ladies only." A nice change from being stared at by random males. The carriage also had a/c that was working.
